The Tri-Colour Style Statement

The last month was full of excitement and festivities, what with Christmas & New Year celebrations and the start of  end of season sales. Everyone could be seen resplendent in their Red & Green finery to celebrate Christmas and bid adieu to 2017. As we enter 2018, we still have a number of festivals and national events to look forward to... And to dress up for!

Punjabis are looking forward to Lohri celebrations, Gujaratis are all set for Makar Sankranti, Hindus are preparing for Vasant Panchmi puja, Tamilians are geared up for Pongol, and the list goes on. While all these regional festivals bring a lot of fun, frolic and a bank holiday in each respective region, Republic Day is the first holiday of the year that the nation celebrates together. It is a day that inspires pride in and loyalty to our great country. Let us celebrate this momentous day with zeal and unity.

Republic Day will give us our first long weekend of 2018. We are all likely to celebrate it with our friends and family. Like every year, we are all sure to have a special celebration at our respective offices to commemorate the 69th Republic Day of India. This brings us to the question of what to wear for the office celebrations as well as for our weekend outing. The obvious answer is Saffron, White & Green! After all it is a time of the year to dress up in the shades of our Tri-Colour and participate in flag hoisting ceremonies being held throughout India.

This year Drish has curated an exclusive range of genuine leather shoes and accessories to help you make a classy Republic Day style statement. The collection has something for everyone. There are Jalsa shoes for Men opting for a traditional Indian look, or leather sneakers for men who want to make a casual style statement. These is also a range of leather loafers in green, white and navy blue for men to choose from the collection includes Saffron and White sneakers for women, as well as our signature floral print flats or heels that truly complement dresses in Green, Saffron or White.
